Account Executive: Independent ContractorAre you a highly-motivated sales professional who has developed relationships and strategic partnerships with top executives in large corporations? Are you interested in working with these large corporations to identify and provide solutions for critical business and performance issues? Are you interested in an independent contractor position that offers unlimited earning potential based on your sales skills and performance? Location: Your home office. Compensation: Commission based on gross profit generated by Account Executives. sales.
Primary Responsibilities: - Identifies specific industries and companies who have potential to utilize the services of IDI.
- Cold calls potential clients via phone, direct mail and/or in person
- Learns clients' industry and business needs through ongoing research using external sources.
- Prepares, directs and presents IDI capabilities to clients by addressing client needs and demonstrating how IDI stands ready to fulfill those needs with high-value incentive solutions.
- Plans and develops all costs/program elements of client proposals in conjunction with program manager and/or VP Sales/Business Development
- Achieves or exceeds stated IDI gross profit objectives and sales volume objectives.
- Maintains a complete client history of all active and past-operated programs and reviews with management yearly.
- Develops revenue forecasts for all prospective accounts.
- Supports and adheres to policies and procedures established by the company and agrees with IDIs ethics, standards and commitments.
- Represents IDI at trade shows and other sales, industry and marketing events
- May be required to visit clients / leads on behalf of inside salesperson for relationship building, contract negotiations and/or problem solving
Requirements: - A diploma or degree, ideally in business, sales and/or marketing.
- Experience selling to large Corporate and National Accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic partnerships with top corporate executives through consultative selling
- Proven ability to negotiate contractual terms at the executive level
- Demonstrated ability to identify new profitable opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of Marketing, Customer Service and Operations
- Excellent account management skills.
- Documented history of career stability
- Documented history of income growth through highly leveraged commissions and bonuses
- Well organized, ability to work to multiple deadlines.
- Capable of using Microsoft office and internet
- Flexibility to travel
