| Health and Wellness Component The Health and Wellness Component is specifically designed to manage your health and wellness incentive program. Program administrators can create an incentive program designed to reduce overall health costs; to create a healthier and happier workforce; and to inspire employees to stop or reduce unhealthy habits, increase healthy habits, take a diagnostic test or to learn more about health and wellness options. Health and Wellness Component differs from other incentive programs because we have included an additional layer of administration, a confidential area for your Health Coach. A Health Coach is someone that you authorize to work with your employees for the management of their health and wellness related goals. This Health Coach has exclusive access to private and confidential details related to your employees' health. In other words, your administrators will not have access to this information and neither will Incentive Depot's program managers. Together we will create tasks/goals for your program, which is based on your expected return on investment, legal considerations and other factors. All employees will be grouped into low, medium and high-risk groups by the Health Coach. Each risk group can be assigned a point value for completion or involvement in the tasks / goals that will have the highest impact. Since modifying the behaviour of the high-risk employee can provide more benefit, you determine if you will offer the same tasks for each group and how the points are allocated for completion. You might, for example, reward a low-risk employee 50 points for taking a lunch-hour walk, whereas a high-risk employee may receive 125 points for the same walk. Employees will check in with their Health Coach according to their agreed upon schedule and will provide any proof of task/goal that is required. When the Health Coach is satisfied that the employee has completed the task / goal he/she will record the task and award the points. Employees can save their points until program end or spend them in the Health and Wellness rewards catalog as they go along. After all, being healthier is the ultimate goal for your employees but being recognized and rewarded for commitment makes all the difference. |
